Where does it go...?

We have had a VERY busy summer this year. Between weddings, travel, Denise's clinical rotation, and work - we've barely had time to sit down and share a meal together let alone keep our friends and family updated on what's new.

In May we made another trip down to see my high school friends for the wedding of Allison Nash and Chris Bolt in Chattanooga. As always, these little get togethers never disappoint. We got to see just about everyone we spent New Year's Eve with when we were last down to visit. Plenty of reminiscing and even more new stories to tell in the future. The plan is to get back down there again this fall at some point once college football season gets in full swing. To cap it all off, our good friends, Robbie and Emma Bush, are planning to make a trip up to visit us for New Year's Eve this year.

In June, my brother Michael and sister-in-law Melissa renewed their wedding vows with the entire extended family in town for the event. Page Family weddings have become legendary. It's just too bad there won't be anymore - at least not until our kids, nieces, or nephews start getting married.

Also, in June - Denise began an eight week rotation at a local outpatient clinic here in Wilmington. This was by far the most challenging of her clinical experiences thus far in her program, but just like everything else - she was able to persevere and passed the rotation with flying colors. School starts back up in September, so she is taking some much deserved time off here in August.

As for me, having moved to a completely different business area involving new products I find myself traveling back and forth to Charlotte, NC, just about every other week. I'm enjoying meeting new people and racking up some frequent flyer miles.

We'll be taking some time off in a few weeks to spend a long weekend down on at the Jersey shore as well as visit Denise's sister and brother-in-law out in Kentucky. After that, it is back to school. That's all for now.
